Sandra Shectman, Founder and President of Automotive HR Solutions, is a 20 year veteran in the automotive industry, specializing solely in human resource management. She founded Automotive HR Solutions as a direct response to the needs of dealers to reduce employee turnover, increase productivity, enhance employee morale and train employees on the importance of being at the professional forefront of their respective workplaces.

​Prior to founding Automotive HR Solutions, Ms. Shectman worked 12 years at Penske Automotive, formerly United Auto Group, as an Area HR Manager and the Northeast Regional HR Director, where she was responsible for the HR operations of more than 30 franchises. Prior to joining Penske Automotive, she served as the HR Director for the Classic Auto Group in New Jersey. She has held adjunct teaching positions at Philadelphia College of Textiles and Design educating students on Compensation and Benefits, Basic Mathematics Skills and Statistical Analysis.

​Ms. Shectman earned her M.B.A. and her B.S. in Finance and Operations Management from Drexel University. She has also earned various post-graduate human resource certifications from Villanova University focusing in the areas of employment law, strategic planning, labor relations and risk management. She has guest lectured at Villanova University to their graduate students about the benefits and challenges of consulting in the HR industry.
